Our family:
- Brandon is very supportive of my running habit and is more than willing to watch the boys when I leave. But I always feel this sense of needing to be back home the minute that I leave. Like the house will fall apart without me. But this is what I find when I come home..they were watching ESPN...seriously:
Matthew:
- Calls himself "Mamoo" but it's turning into "Ma-two"
- He'll show his Spiderman or Thomas Train "unwerwear" to ANYONE!
- He called a guy at Home Depot "Daddy" the other day and almost gave him a heart attack.
- He has learned his colors.
- Mommy is good for when he is tired, hungry or hurt. At all other times, men are better.
- He loves outside.
- His 2T pants are way too short now.
- Uncle Nate tried to get him to say "Hook 'em Horns" and Matthew told him "No Thank You....Gig 'em".
- He still wants me to sing "Silent Night" at bedtime. I don't have the heart to tell him that it's a seasonal song.
- He tries to get me to stay in his room longer at night by offering to scratch my (or Brandon's) back. He will make us roll over...give us bear, monkey, elephant and poo (yes, he is seriously lacking some creativity when it comes to naming his animals)...offer us a blankie...and then scratch my back. And it works...I stay a little bit longer.
Kyle
- His smiles melts my heart.
- He reaches for our faces with his little hands. It seems like he studies our faces and it's so sweet.
- He is outgrowing his 6-9 month clothes. He's just huge.
- I haven't given him real food yet...because that will mean that he's growing up.
- He can flip from his back to tummy and he can flip back over. But he doesn't, and just lays there like a beached whale and complains about it :)
- I wake him up first in the mornings to feed him. I love that one-on-one time with him. We just don't get enough.
- He loves Jack and he got a mouthful of fur yesterday.
- He laughs at Matthew...alot.
- He loves the music at church.
