This spring has been wonderful. One day it was a high of 40-something degrees and the next day was sunny and in the 70's. I don't think I ever truly appreciated spring until I had two energetic boys that could either (1) destroy my house or (2) play outside to get rid of little boy energy. We do everything outside....even eating. Which is a blessing since Kyle thinks he sould be able to use a fork just like everyone else.
Last week we went to the Ben & Jerry's 'free cone' day.

These boys love to eat and are regularly starting to eat bigger portions than I am. Kyle will finish his plate and then come sit on my lap and finish mine. I kept thinking that Matthew was 'seeing what I would offer' when he said he was hungry. So I started placing a plate full of carrots and celery on the table and telling them that was the only snack they would be getting. And guess what??? They ate it! I guess they really are hungry!
But these pics aren't of health food.....and that's' why they are so excited. These were brownies!

There is a St. Patrick's Day parade that goes down 1960 and right in front of our neighborhood. Matthew was so excited. The fire trucks are every almost-4 yr olds dream. Not to mention the candy and beads. Brandon, and our neighbor Fred, decided they were going to tailgate before the parade next year and give away homebrew. Leave it to our husbands to corrupt good family fun :)
